Caipirinha Recipe

The caipiriña (caipirinha in Portuguese) is a cocktail consisting of Brazil or cachaça cachaça, lime, sugar and ice.
To prepare a glass of lemon drink is a short (Tahiti variety) without peel in medium sized pieces, then add one or two tablespoons of white or refined sugar, the lemon slices are squeezed slightly, usually with a wooden mortar designed for such a role. Then he poured the mixture before the ice cubes or torn into pieces, between 20-50 ml. cachaça and shake. The mixture is served in glasses and, if desired, with one or two straws. The original preparation is prepared with lime, cut into medium pieces, and two tablespoons sugar amarelo (sugar cane), mixed and squeezed in a mortar. To this mixture is added to crushed ice, between 2 and 5 cl of cachaça, crushed ice and more.
It usually presents with straws, as the secret of the caipirinha is the drinking liquid from the bottom of the container, so all the juice from the lime and sugar falls to the bottom and will gradually mix with cachaça. Drink straw is not recommended, because the taste is not the same, is above all cachacas undiluted and is quite strong
