The
pepper plant is a herbaceous perennial habit in the wild, but
cultivated as an annual in most cases, because of its
susceptibility to frost and chilling injury.

Dichotomous

entire, oval-oblong, glabrous and bright green.
The

yellows, greens and reds.

used in human food: frozen, dried, pickled, canned pastas and
sauces.
