Legend
of the fearsome Black Charro
In some Mexican states such as Hidalgo and Tlaxcala, for
instance, is a legend which, although showing minor variations,
but in essence is very similar. However, today we will refer to
only one version.
The first one is in the state of Veracruz, where for many years,
residents of several villages have seen a cadaverous man,
dressed as black charro, also mounted on a black horse.
The charro, when it appears, offers a bag of money to whoever
has the misfortune to find his way in, but so far nobody has
wanted to get the bag of gold coins, because they fear that the
devil is a trick. |
